Hmmm ... I wouldn't go so far as to say friend, but he did autograph a copy of Mi Revalueshanary Fren: Selected Poems when he did a solo poetry reading in Edinburgh last year. I stood in line, nervous, acting like a awestruck teenager at 32 years old ... hahaha!
