I haven't had time to write much here this week. Between the stress of throwing a (hopefully) big party tomorrow (special guests: Feelings on a Grid!), and still feeling intense pain from my teeth faily often, I just haven't had the time or concentration. Hopefully next week will be filled with (other people's) embarrassing party anecdotes.

So here's a special joke dedicated to my friends at Whatawaytodie. I heard it from a cheese delivery driver today in the cooler.

Q: What note do you hear when you drop a piano down a mineshaft?

A: A flat miner.

hee hee.

Too bad I missed the party. We had planned to go, and even the week before talked about how we would hit two parties (yours and a friend's on Treasure Island) in the same night. A good exercise in being social. But then we went to see Mirah in Oakland and left a little past midnight. By that point we were starving, and a hungry boyfriend is a grumpy, humorless boyfriend.

But I hope your party was super fun and generated a large batch of entertaining anecdotes to share with others in the future.

Tonight (Sunday) I have to go the Staff party for work to celebrate the end of the school year. I'm not too fond of these work-related gatherings, but if I don't go I end up looking really bad in front of my supervisors.
