I have that kitchen table. Currently in pieces, in the back shed. When he visits we can put it together and huddle about pretending that we are all back on the west coast in a kitchen with posters and flyers and whatnot. In fact, I have all of those things too - we can decorate! It might be a bit of a trip through time, but we will be comforted by the familiar details.
