I feel like [livejournal.com profile] final_girl

Hey, I just got a new cell phone because mine was smashed. Good deal and all that. The only problem is that even though AT & T and Cingular are now one company, they can't transfer my address book because my technology is from Ye Olde Tymes when they were hateful enemies instead of one big happy family. Whatever. Grrrrrr. Etc.

So, If you have my cell number, call me. Now. Please. It will save me a lot of typing.

(This includes lurking cheese reps. My business numbers are on here too.)

My cell number is the same!

I hope this new phone doesn't suck this bad all the time. That was a bad omen.

I thought "lurking cheese reps" said "lurking cheese creeps," and I thought, "Oh, that's me!"

Here, I'll use my icon to make this comment worthwhile.

This is my second night of the Fo. She's all yours tomorrow. Not that I can call you since I don't have your number anymore.

I don't know you well enough to have your cell number, but might I suggest 1(877) GO-CHEESE ?

I think that would be just awesome.

Last year, I got transferred from YE SUPER OLD-TYME (a whole seven years, cue rant about disposable culture) phone onto a new chip. It was at the Cingular Store, and they had to bust out with a secondary chip to do the transfer, and it took ninety minutes, but they did manage to do it.

So, if you feel like going through a possibly fruitless headache you could look into it. But ... it's probably one of those situations where I got the one clueful tech in all of California or something.

heh. lurking cheese creeps. heh.

there was some discussion of using an unregistered cell phone and blah blah but I figure it's a good time to cull numbers. I'll be hte one at the cafe looking like I'm obsessed with my two cell phones, one of which is held together by duct tape.

Heh, I've discovered my packrat tendencies transfer to phone numbers, too. Admittedly, my phone was so old it only had space for 45 numbers on the chip, but I kinda got a little panicky about the notion of OMG POSSIBLY LOSING A NUMBER!

If taken, he could go with 888-UR-CHEESY
