I haven't linked things in awhile but there are things you should know about.

Awesome blog by an ex-LJer about Bay Area Radical History. There's an LJ feed too.

Almost daily cheese writing by an awesome woman I met at the ACS conference: cheese_mistress. Her real site is here but she uses LJ as her blog.

My old cheese pal sheanadavis just started an LJ which will have awesome recipes and travel notes. Friend her now. She just posted a paella recipe.

Also, if you are local and have a co-op fetish, there's a bunch of co-op stuff this week. Including movies at the Red Vic and a bike tour of East Bay Co-ops. Check it out.

For all the potentially adoring Bay Radical fans out there (ha ha), I do a substantial, well-researched post about once a month or once every six weeks. In between I tend to do short reviews of books, websites, stores, and other stuff that relates to history and the Bay Area. In other words, my blog requires a bit of patience.

My next 'real post' should be ready in about about three weeks, maybe less.

I followed the link you had to the cheesemistress, but, um, you need to check those out more closely. What you link a) hasn't been updated since 2005; b) has no dairy cheese content; and c) is hilarious in its own right.

However, I think you meant this cheese_mistress. Ah, the all-important hyphen.
