Kimberley Chun at the Guardian wrtote a really sweet Lance Hahn obituary in this week's issue.

It looks like I'll have about 15 extra copies of the Memorial zine so please don't be shy if you want one. Besides the people who've already asked, and those who contributed, I'll send out a copy to the next 15 folks who request one. You didn't have to have known him. I'd rather send these out than have them sitting in my room.

I wasn't on the ball enough to get people from the video store to send stuff quickly enough to get into the zine, but I know of a few of them that would really appreciate a copy of it, including my boyfriend and at least a couple of other coworkers who had a special fondness for Lance. So, you could send me one for Brian and he could pass it around, or you could send me another one or two of them and I would make sure they got to people who would really appreciate them. Either way.

No, I don't know Sean, though do like his bands. He knows my mate Penguin though, who would have stayed with Lance at some point. I guess he would like one if you can spare two. He sold Lance's records way back. You may even have met him at stuff.

Gordon- I don't think you and I've ever met--- although a couple years ago when I was visiting the emmay goldman grave in chicago I found a cheese-related pin there and remember thinking I bet that Gordonzola guy left this here. Anyway, I'd really like to request a copy of the lance zine if you still have one to go. Plus, I'd be happy to make copies for other folks who wanted one, after you're out; or I could not do that if you want. Either way, I'll email you my address.

haha. you are totally right! I was there and realized I didn't have an offering so I left the pins off my jacket. That's amazing that you saw it/them.

Hey G, I was in the Detroit airport (back from AK - was fantastic) and saw a brief obit for Lance in Rolling Stone.
I would love a copy, if you have any left.
Hoping you are well, knowing you are totally busy.
Maybe you'll be seeing Obliviot out there sometime this winter.
He may be taking a job in Marin.
