Portions of the New York left half-assedly mobilized themselves and not much of anybody else to a long-ass rally in Union Square. Other portions didn't even bother. Only a few hundred people had shown up by the time the march was to start. Since there is nothing more demoralizing that going on a two-mile long march with few hundred of your closest annoyances, my friends and I left.
You won't often hear me saying this: I would much rather have been in San Francisco.
