This is probably the first time I didn't go to APE. I decided that I didn't really have money to spend on comic books, and if I went I'd want to buy. So I stayed home to avoid the whole thing. I was also irritated by how sexist people where last year. Everyone kept trying to get the boy's attention (who didn't really want to be there, but I dragged him) and kept brushing me off as if I were the one who was dragged. So no APE for me. Yeah, SF Zinefest is better.

Oh yeah, I always circumvent the paying at the door thing by finding someone who's leaving and asking for their pass.
