heh. Have you seen the short "Transanimals"? It goes on too long, but it's a hillarious look at Trans issues looking at dog-to-cat and cat-to-dog transanimals. My favorite part? One partner of a CTD transanimal says, "I try to be supportive, but it's a big change in my own identity. I've always thought of myself as a cat person. Now I'm a dog person." Brilliant.
