Well, I’m not really qualified to write this entry. But here’s a snotty French theory I found this on the internet. I did get multiple copies of a soft-core porn novel that used cheese names as different chapter headings one year for my birthday.

I have a 12" single called "Oka ain’t over!" about the First Nations uprising back in the early ‘90s. It had Chuck D and The Mad Professor and it’s really pretty good even though it seems like no one else has ever heard of it.

Oka the cheese is a Canadian thing. Canadian ex-pats always ask for it and get all indignantly Canadian when we don’t have it, but we can rarely sell a whole wheel without it going bad. It’s lightly washed and has a semi-soft texture. It’s a good cheese, rich and a little pungent, but overpriced by the time it makes its way to California.

I have! Those Fire This Time CDs were heavy rotation items on community radio up here. Asian Dub Foundation's track with Asatta first came out on one of their comps

the multiple copies were not planned. I think it was called "Fermentation". It wasn't really cheese porn although there was a scene amongst the freshly squeezed then spilled milk.
