a few things I'd like to share
Feb. 4th, 2003 08:12 amI’ll make a real post later, but these little things should be mentioned:
1. I know I’m late on this one, but if you haven’t heard the Jeff Stryker country songs yet, you should check this out. "Pop you in the Pooper" is the stand out. Unfortunately it’s only a clip.
2. "Dogs in Space" is playing at El Rio, 2/18 at 8 PM as this month’s After School Special. I always hated INXS but for some reason I want to see this movie. 21 +, sorry kids.
3. I listened to the Beatnigs album for the first time in years. All I can say is that I forgot how good it is. I wish I couldn’t say that I like it much better than anything else Michael Franti has ever done(Disposable Heroes, Spearhead), but . . .
4. Wow, there’s more 13 year olds doing LJs than 35 year olds. When I was sick and bored yesterday I actually did the random search thing. I think that there should be a function connected to the random search that calls loved ones to stage an intervention and get the user off the computer. My favorite random journal? The one that is named "diefighting" where the user says in a post, "Fights are stupid".
5. This whole post is obviously a cry for help. My brain is still too addled to write well about the things I actually want to write about.
