Yearbook photo post

Go at it! Post your yearbook photos in a comment below. C'mon, don't be bashful.

Since I already posted my senior picture, here is my pic from 1982, right before I cut off my hair the first time. It has never been this long since.

P.S. I can't get out my H.S. yearbook photos, but here is this:

I am on the left! Good thing I don't look like that anymore.
I was inspired by skaters, grunge, and Riot Grrrl (less obvious here, I suppose) & wearing my bf's Cramps shirt, giant pants, and red Pumas. ew.

Obviously, if I went to a reunion, I would be within the "I used to be awkward but now I'm hot" trope, huh?

Hm. I was supposed to really graduate in 1997, but I dropped out of HS & did "homeschool" so I could hurry up & go to college.
They probs don't let drop-outs go, huh? I mean, I went to that HS for 2.5 years.

It's not like it's an official school event. They'd have to really want to keep you out.

Yeah? I pictured like.. armed thugs at the school gates, which actually would be alarmingly similar to what it was like when I went there.

What made me look older? *just curious - this is not a loaded question*

Not your looks, your mindset and fascination with late-'80s hair bands made me think you were older.

I just tend to assume that everyone cool is the same young vital age I am so when they are 4-5 years younger it throws me off and makes me feel old.

Sort of like my entire relationship with danielmath.

This is why I started lying about my age lately. Like, lately I tell people I am anywhere between 18 and 30!

P.S. I get the same "I am so so so old" feelings when I talk with intelligent & saavy people under 23.
