I was so into the Stranglers it was embarrassing. They would have been my first concert but they cancelled the all-ages show at the last minute.

I tried to fool myself that I did. But no, they suck. I wrote a review of "Aural Sculpture" for the school paper and felt obligated to be positive since no one else in school liked them. but no, post meninblack was pretenious garbage. meninblack was pretentious, but not garbage. "Black and White" is my favorite.

That line about "Princess in the Streets" being feminist (in reality: totally post-feminist) is so classically awful.
