I did a little friends cut. Mostly folks who haven't updated their journal in a year or people who cut me. If anyone is upset by that, let me know and I'll add you back. It was more random than systematic so don't look for deeper meaning.

Oh no! I've been cut. Or maybe I wasn't on your friends list to begin with. How sad, because we are two of only six people who share a certain interest. And we have some mutual friends, which means we will likely meet in the real world in June!

i'm thrilled i'm not part of the cut; though by all rights i should be. i mean what the fuck happened? i used to write. i used to enjoy writing. i used to enjoy the whole lj community thing. i used to obsessively check my friends page. and then it stopped.

god i can't wait to get home. trav and alyssa have me convinced that they love having me here (it must be the free cooking and cleaning and decorating), but gee, california and lack of courtesy and (best of all) diversity are calling me! so glad i don't live in this part of the country any more -- no matter how nice the people are (on the surface at least).

i haven't seen you in dog years, gordon. any chance you'll make it to noc noc next tuesday?
