I did a little friends cut. Mostly folks who haven't updated their journal in a year or people who cut me. If anyone is upset by that, let me know and I'll add you back. It was more random than systematic so don't look for deeper meaning.

i'm thrilled i'm not part of the cut; though by all rights i should be. i mean what the fuck happened? i used to write. i used to enjoy writing. i used to enjoy the whole lj community thing. i used to obsessively check my friends page. and then it stopped.

I love the whole LJ friends-cut process threads that everyone takes part of. It's like an LJ community ritual.

In actuality, I imagine NONE of the cuts I made will be noticed and if someone cares then it was by definition a mistake. I was just trying to clean up a little.

god i can't wait to get home. trav and alyssa have me convinced that they love having me here (it must be the free cooking and cleaning and decorating), but gee, california and lack of courtesy and (best of all) diversity are calling me! so glad i don't live in this part of the country any more -- no matter how nice the people are (on the surface at least).

i haven't seen you in dog years, gordon. any chance you'll make it to noc noc next tuesday?
