Since I am doing a theme-organized recap of my London trip, I don't want to forget about thanking the LJ folks I hung out with there.

woolly and luckysaddle cooked me an awesome dinner and plied me with wine. winsey made me drink cherry beer and I liked it. beelavender fetched me in London, brought me back to Cambridge, threw me a party, and let me hang out with her oldest child (who greeted me, in her booming American voice, with "Oh my God, you sound so American")

Once in Cambrdige, arasay and de_gustibus let me stay in their place and let me play with their adorable little SG, who I had never met before. slantedtruth got me drunk and cooked for all of us twice (one time it was actually edible!)

Back in London, claudimp took me out to the most wonderful Lebanese restaurant I have ever been to and introduced me to annafdd. sparkleshortz and I went for fancy drinks and barely missed each other at the airport.

Then charlottecooper gave me a tour of Stratford (home of the 2012 Olympics, poor Stratford but better them than us). Look at the sculpture! Now that's some goddamn public art!


Thanks to everyone! It was great.
