That's on the Asheville Indymedia site, but the event actually took place in Knoxville, TN. Of course, knowing Asheville it's entirely possible the clowns had traveled across the border . . .
Awesome. Anti-klan rallies were always my favorite things to do in Tallahassee. The very first one I went to was kind of tense. It was the first time in many, many years that the klan had tried to have a rally. As redneck as the area was, we didn't know what the numbers would be like. The anti-klan outnumbered the klan and supporters by about 3 to 1. After that first one, all of the others were a lot of fun. There was always the possibility that the klan might try to get violent, but the police were pretty clearly on our side. It was mostly like a carnival or street party kind of atmosphere.
Yeah, I read that. I kept thinking, "wait, are we in those photos?" because it seemed exactly like something Formaldehyde and I have, or would have done already.
Okay, well, there was that time we clowned the Pride Parade and mocked all the Burn-In-Hell-Faggot Christians until they fled back into BART. That was fun

"Wife Power" has become an inside joke with us. :)
Just a brilliant, brilliant response. It's like an old Bugs Bunny bit.

P. S. This clown rally thing, it's real? It actually happened? That's so awesome.
