On a related note, I picked up a bunch of big No on 98" window signs so if anyone in SF needs one, I can probably drop one off next week. Just leave a comment here or e-mail me at gordon at gordonzola dot net. Unfortunately, the SF Tenants Union made the dubious decision to have the slogan be "Save Rent Control" which, while completely true, is not the best slogan if you live in a city that doesn't have rent control so I can't imagine many of you non-SFers would want one of these. Since 98 threatens not just those of us with rent control but also tenant rights throughout the state, (not to mention environmental laws) I wish the slogan was a little more broad. Oh well.
