There is this bizarre notion on the Left that if they ask pointed questions, after the fact, about some cultural endeavor, that this might improve things.
Really, GoNY's concerns can be most easily understood by examining Scorcese's recurring preoccupations, preoccupations that sometimes make good films but mostly make horrible ones.
