Comics, "Friends", Beer and Buffy

Am I missing something? In what universe does the likeness of the Winter Brothers have enough "commercial appeal" to sell comic books? Hmmmm, I guess seeing them as evil half-worms does have some draw.

I find it amusing that my short, off-the-cuff opine about "friending" drew more response than anything else I’ve ever written here. I guess I hit a nerve. Just don’t really want to lead the anti-"friend" movement, ok?

It looks beautiful today. Hey [livejournal.com profile] nodoilies and [livejournal.com profile] jactitation, beer on the stoop before Buffy?

Oh my fucking god!!! Who cares about the commercial appeal! -whoever decided to do a comic about the Winter brothers as evil half-worm mutants is a fucking genius!

Where can I get a copy of this before the intellectual property lawyers order all remaining copies to be destroyed?

"Didn't even realize there WAS a Buffy tonight."

Dude! It's, like, the SECOND-TO-THE-LAST EPISODE of the entire series!!! ;)

Dude, a) it's been an awful fucking season, so the care-factor is slipping majorly (my theory is it's passive-aggressive "you don't love us enough to keep us on for another season so here's what you get"); b) I really thought the fucking episode was the preview to the final battle (so glad I was wrong about that); and c) Sarah Michelle Gellert's whittling away down to stick-size has left her nose looking almost too scary to watch--I'm repressing things to avoid seeing it.
