Still resting my wrist. Don't expect much from me this week. Thanks to birthday girl final_girl for reminding me that it is not only her birthday, but also would have been Kris Kovick's if Kris was still with us. I know I'm too young to be recycling old material, but you people are so demanding.

Did you ever hear Kovick's rape revenge story. Absolute genius.

When KK was dying, Miriam (my GF) and I went over, recorded audio tracks of she and I reading on her computer -- it's an appropriate and amazing memory to have of her, of someone who was so integral to starting the sf queer spoken word riot.

The first time I read in SF was with Kovick, at Red Dora's.

I need to go look up who else was on the bill.

I'll be thinking about Uncle Kris all day.
