Especially during and since my RSI experience, I have been really bad about checking out the LJs of people who’ve "friended" me, especially those of you who never comment. So, if you care about such things, let me know who you are and how you found me. Don’t be shy now.

Thanks.

I found you through someone (I forget who) on my friendsfriends page. They mentioned that you had an interesting year-end review thingy up, and I was intrigued by that and your LJ name--'cause I am a bit of a turophile. ;) Read your journal, found it interesting and well-written and that you're of a similar politcal mind, and added you!

Thanks. But you know what's interesting? Never once in almost 10 years of cheese work has anyone said "Turophile" to me in person. I think it's one of those words people like to write more than to say.

I have to admit to only having recently learned the word--despite being a cheese lover for most of my life--and as such have been using it whenever I get the chance. ;) I can't imagine saying it much, though; and anyway it really doesn't sound very... cheesy.
