I voted against it. But not because I think the current redistricting makes sense. I just felt like this was the year to vote no on everything. I actually voted yes on 79, which won't win, to counteract Big Pharm just a bit. It's not a terrible idea but everything that isn't socialized medicine is just patchwork anyways.
That was exactly my voting record this time. No on everything except 79, which, as you say, won't win. I am kind of afraid that 73, 74, and 75 WILL win...
on my way to my local polling place in about two minutes. with the possible exception of prop 79, i'm voting no on everything. i really hate propositions. um, the electoral kind, i mean. sexual propositions are a completely different matter!
Send me a link to tell me what the props are for, please. We had a mayoral election today. The guy who has been mayor for many years here in Montrose is leaving office in January so we had a write in ballot for his position. I voted for Obliviot and so did he - given the population of the town I think he stands a good chance of winning. He only wants the job so people will call him "Your Honor." That or "Da Mayor." It's a part time job that pays $800 a year. Don't you love small town life?
