You should have. You would have been a welcome addition to my workday, which otherwise consists of charting my escape from Oregon back to California by researching every potential soy latte stop down I-5, from the Penske place to my new front door.

Uh, never eat in Salem. Period.

I would have told you to buy Corn Nuts at the Dairy Mart to tide you over, and then taken you to a fabulous lunch.

I'd say "next time," but I won't be here anymore soon. !!!

And I don't think even I will be able to find great places to eat in Irvine. If you are ever passing through Orange County, meet me in LA first.
