A little break form the cheese stories just to say this. My rental car had satellite radio. At first I thought this was awesome. Actually, at first I was amazed at Burlington's hip hop station then I realized what was going on. I mostly listened to my own CDs but whenever one would end I'd listen for awhile. BDP, Public Enemy, Queen Latifah... It seemed like the late '80s/early '90s all over again.

The downside? I heard one song over and over again and I still can't get it out of my head. Seriously, it's been over a week. I may need to call a doctor.

That song? You guessed it. "Me So Horny" by 2 Live Crew.

Does anyone have a screwdriver?

oh no, I only deleted because I didn't know your e-mail address. posting and deleting comments is like sending an instant message! Didn't mean to be confusing.

I feel your pain, my brother. That song can linger in a person's mind like some sort of social disease.

sing or hum the beatles' "and i love her," starting with the opening guitar riff.

it cleans out earworms like nothing else.

Her hair was kinda curly...

a million years ago when I went to college, that was the only listenable song on the dining hall jukebox. I'd put in a dollar and play it 5 times.

I'd rather have almost anything other than the Beatles. I'll stick with the Crew.

. . . me so horny; me love you long time.

It's from the movie Full Metal Jacket, which is where the line from that song you referenced came from. I wasn't trying to be Dennis Miller with my reply.

ah yes, I should have made the connection. But it's been nearly 20 years since I saw that movie. I forgot.

Try watching a drunk white guy rap it at karaoke.

It was the only low point in an otherwise fun night.

If he'd have done it, I'd have shamed him by posting about it every hour for a month. It wasn't any of our tribe.

He did do a rap though...

The German version of "Rock Me Amadeus".

what if that song is on repeat in your head the moment you die? what does that do to the soul? you might be reincarnated as a really stupid person.
be careful.
i get two songs in my head allll the time and it's out of my control completely: 'since yesterday' by strawberry switchblade, and 'hazy shade of winter' by the bangles.
don't ask me!
