i was having a conversation recently about how kids today are defined more by negatives- what they don't like or do- than by positives- things they cherish or participate in.

I totally embrace my major hate-iness.

In fact, here are more I forgot:

1.Interrupters who never let you finish a sentence without railroading over your words. They should go home and talk to their bathroom mirror, because thats what they really are looking for, not dialogue.

2. I agree w/ the other hater who commented about priveledged white men taking up too much space. I HATE suites walking down the street who walk fast to get ahead of you, start walking right in front of you, then slow down. Or, who dont scoot over a bit on the sidewalk when they see you coming. I have just taken lately to bodychecking people if they dont get somewhat the fuck out the way. Also I get looks of shocked suprise from the same suits when I step to the front row of the curb waiters at a red light. kind of like an unspoken "we are important men and are in front of other walkers and why do you think you are so important that you couldnt wait with the other loligagers further back on the sidewalk?"

3. Co-workers who dont fucking work, and just expect that you will not notice or say anything about their slackertude, and further, will pick up their slack.

4. Hippies, and hippy midwives who tell me I am not it touch with my feminine side because I use tampons.

5. Girl "friends" who see flirting and persuing your love interest as sport.

6. Male friends who try and get game with your girlfriends when they are drunk.

7. Religious people who take "pity" on you because you are not saved.

oh, its not really right under the surface... its on the surface, beleive you me :) im the most piss and vinegar-filled optomist i know :)

the scary thing is i wrote my post in 5 minutes sitting in the office between jobs. theres SO much more i despise. so very much more. practically everything everyone else listed i was like "yeah! YEAH! i hate that TOO!"

so much to despise, so little time...

of course, if you asked me to make a list of the things i loved, itd be just as long, perhaps even longer. which is nice.
